HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Brothers

Happy Father’s Day to everyone of you, whether or not you are a biological father. God
has made you one.
The commentary about fathers day is that it is generally treated as less significant than
Mother’s Day or any other celebratory day. Well, that will never deter us from being
good and faithful fathers.

As men we emulate God. We are designed and called to create and sustain for those
around us, an environment of protection and provision. We emulate God through
unconditional love and consistent example of integrity and goodwill.

Every child is ours. Every woman is our mother and sister. Every man is our brother.
We emulate God by offering support and guidance and just presence wherever needed.
We need each other’s encouragement and support to fulfill our roles.

Our homes and families are demanding. We emulate God through our sacrificial ways,
while being patient and enduring.

I commend to you God’s grace and the enabling of The Holy Spirit. Noah heard God,
saw the dangers and challenges and secured his family. Abraham heard God , sensed
purpose and against all odds, stepped out in faith seeded a great nation by which all
people’s were and are blessed. Joseph the carpenter- Jesus’s earthly father , heard
God, relinquished his rights and reputation and became a steward and protector of
God’s plan of redemption.

You and I have these attributes. God being our help, we’ll demonstrate them. Let us
support and inspire one another and be a blessing to homes, workplaces, communities,
congregations and the world.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY BROTHER.
